Streets of San Diego
Street Food Market on Corner of Broadway and Kettner. We happened upon it on a Sunday when we arrived early to pick someone up from the airport and found out the plane was delayed a bit. We had 45 minutes to kill so we were headed to the grocery store to pick up a few things and saw this sign. I work downtown, but didn’t know this was happening on Sundays so we had to stop.
Samosa’s at the food market, this vendor is also at the Little Italy Famers’ Market on Saturdays.
Chicken tikka samosa with spicy sauce, we also tried the butter chicken samosa and they were as big as my fist so our late airline passenger got to taste some too.
Elote - it was kind of too close of a picture to see how good it looked, but the corn wasn’t really ripe so it looked better than it tasted.
Wednesdays during lunch there are street food vendors set up on the concourse at “City Hall” . They appear to be the same that are present Saturdays in LIttle Italy or the Friday Food Trucks at Balboa Park. They also were the same as the Sunday vendors I ran into downtown in February, they are delicious and I wish I had a bigger appetite.
Rafikiz - This vendor is at Horton Plaza on Friday’s and I had lunch here one day and it’s so full of flavor, I’ve wanted to come back since that time. Now that I know where they are, i will be.
